alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

What a BEAUTIFUL picture. I LOVE it. And you're right - you do look alike. It's the mouth and the nose :)

Ok I should know better from all of the adoption education courses that I have been in that ONE of the most annoying comments parents who have adopted get is.."he/she looks just like they could be yours" I know Alex is yours and all yours. But she does look like you gave birth to her! I dont mean this in an offensive way but she really looks like you to me..
Please dont take offense!

Thanks! And no offense taken -- you totally said it the right way! :o)

That is such a beautiful picture! I have to agree that you two look a lot alike!

And by the way, how beautiful are you?!!! Jesus.

I am terribly sorry to inform you that you & your darling daughter have official exceeded the Uniform Adorableness Act of 2004. No further Adorableness will be allowed.

But of course, much-loved babies are always beautiful.
