alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

Redhead

Sorry...my money's on limitless cuteness

MamaChristy

You are a goof. But that's why I keep coming back.

My prediction? Alex will win and you will think of an alternate name for the costume that is terrifying. I mean seriously, you made a bunny both funny and frightening. :)

Laura

Hmmm... how about the bloodthirsty bunny with a tiara? British bloodthirsty bunny royalty? Would that count?

meredith

I just came home from the store with 20 long, black, plastic ghoulish witch finger nails. They're very cool, but too small for my fingers....I'm a betting Alex wins in your costume contest.

Elspeth

Isn't there a character from a horror movie that rubs its hands and says raspily: "Come here, my little Precioussssssss?" That's 'endearing'. I think Alex's idea will work (whatever it is).

Sara

I'm just cracking up at The Shadow reference. Seriously, are you and I the only people under 40 who know about The Shadow? Can't wait to see what happens next!

Jonathon

I'm with you. Go for scary. We ended up with a bunny this year. While I'm sure it'll be cute, no one -- outside of those with abnormal phobias -- is afraid of bunnies.

Let alone toddlers dressed like bunnies.

Le sigh.

Anali

Well, my curiosity has been piqued! Can't wait to see!

DeAnna

Really, is there any debate on this -- I'm sure her limitless cuteness would win every time!

Daisy

We had a Killer bunny at our house, too -- but it was a real rabbit, a ringer for the Beast Like No Other. My prediction is cuteness wins.

Allie

You could dress her as a cute little girl (no costume needed) and tell everyone she's typhoid mary... no? Oh come on...

How about something far more evil... like a telemarketer?

Kira

I'm frightened, just imagining...

katie B

Wow what a cute kid! I'd go for the cute and adorable Alex.
