alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

Well, mine do. Ever since turning 30. Yuck!

you didn't include said picture? yes, i think i understaand. my husband took these pictures of me running and jumping and this one tragic photo caught some jelly and jiggle that i just didn't know existed....

it's hard to see yourself in such an, uhm, unpleasantly jellosque state.

Ugh! I hate that feeling - you're thinking, "I'm cool, I'm ok, I look alright/pretty good"... and BAM! someone takes a picture of you, or you look in the mirror and ... ugh! This morning in the shower I was realizing how sadly stretch-marked my boobs are (thanks, biology! thanks, The Pill! Thanks D-cup boobs!) - despite not being too saggy, they seem to have done a grow/stretchmark deal lately and that is, in my book, a very Bad Thing. Thank goodness for flattering bras and pants, right?
