alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

I guess my TWO HOUR nap was enough for Alex and me both!
A doctor who makes house calls on a Sunday is a rarity.
I hope the monkeys and momma got some rest without need for medical intervention.

At least she still "technically" naps.
My 30 month old quit napping about 2 months ago ;)

The innocence of a child's apology. Did your heart just melt and your frown soften just a bit? Besides, what's a nap without the pre-nap rituals? Happy napping!

That girlie couldn't get much cuter. Happy nap!

She is toooo cute!!

Bobbi Jo

That smile is divine!

How can you look into those cheeks and threaten medical attention? ;-)

You are both so precious.

That is the sweetest picture ever! Love it!

I can still remember what it was like, lying on my back, telling all my made up stories, my mother wanting me to calm down.

I still do it sometimes, but now it's my bf telling me to shut up :-)

love that shot! beautiful!

That sounds like something I'd say with my boys even now. They get rowdy and loud around bedtime.

The Wooden Porch

I've been there! Sometimes naps are impossible!!

Five Little Monkeys is one of my girls' favorite english books and naptimes like that have driven this maman to jumping on her own bed :)
