alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

Yesss...

When my four year old sought to reprimand me a few weeks ago, he called me my name( well, his name for me) with HIS middle name attached, as I do him when he has just pushed all of my buttons. So it was, "Mommy James!" You know my ears just perked up, then.

This had me snickering like an idiot! Too cute! I can imagine the seriousness with which it was said. It's amazing how early we start to sound like our parents
