alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

Crud! I wish we had some glass balls up on the tree so we could do a fun picture like that. Crud, crud. Your tree is so colorful and beautiful! I love it! We always decorate the day after Thanksgiving here. :) Tradition. :)

I am a Christmas junkie. I love the decorations and music. Seeing your pics, I can hear the holiday tunes emanating!

Lovely collage - GREAT family in a ball pic.

How fun!

Yep, put mine up Friday night. You can see the pics here:

I like your ornaments!

Your decorations AND family AND photography are just stunning. Beautiful!

Hey thanks! Your bauble picture is giving me great inspiration for my Christmas Cards. I'm not sure how I'll manage to get the same result as yours, but I'll try...
I'd have imagined a Trinidadian Christmas tree somewhat different... more palm tree-like. Now, thinking about it, I understand that it might be tricky to hang baubles on a palm-tree.

She is just getting so big. She really looks like a big girl in this pic.

How do you keep a tree alive that long?

Wendy --

Oh, it's TOTALLY easy ...

...it's fake. ;o)

Not too early! Santa brought our tree for us to decorate the Friday night before Thanksgiving. Santa brings it for us to decorate because it is just too dang hard to assemble and fluff an artificial tree with a two-year old around.

Lovely tree; even more lovely family. Thanks for sharing.

Hooray! More glory to the fake tree! ;-)

You are all beautiful, your tree is beautiful, and I wish you all a beautiful season.

I LOVE the picture idea.

(I came by your site thru Joy Unexpected)
Thank you for the beautiful Christmas pix, I love the one of your beautiful family best- what a great idea!

Loved all the photos; the last one is particularly nice. Happy Holidays!

Oh, I love, LOVE your ornaments! We always put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I have a neighbor who has had their tree up since last SUMMER. Not sure why, maybe they decorate it for different holidays. LOL
Beautiful tree!
